due to some rumours, by dulfer himself in kevin whiteheads joyful reading on dutch jazz "new dutch swing", that the soundquality is so bad, one barely could agree - the sound balance for a semi-professional recording is good, even the bassof altena is audible and feelable, bennink not to loud - so besides the fine music also the sound should be recommended.
