Great to hear Buddy in a more 'soul jazz' mood, showing off his usual crazy syncopation throughout, and in full big band mode on 'Jumpin' at the Woodside' but the versions of Chameleon & Sierra Lonely really deliver for the crate diggers. Side two takes us through lounge, hard bop & a nice relaxed swing. Totally worth a punt!
